CHEC Used Curriculum Sale

2011's Rocky Mountain Super Conference on the Family introduced the largest Used Curriculum Sale in the state of Colorado, which will continue in 2012.

The 2011 Used Curriculum Sale was a HUGE success. More than half of the over 5000 items brought in for sale were sold! And through the many items left for donation; many widows, single parents and other families were blessed by the gleaning. We also had participants from Nebraska, Wyoming and New Mexico.

With your help we could double the amount of items for sale and gleaning! We are currently seeking sellers and volunteers for the Used Curriculum Sale.

Selling your items is easy, we do most of the work for you. After adding your items to our online database, simply print off the labels, label your items and bring them to the ...

CHEC Video Contest

"The Holy Cause of Liberty"

Video Contest

In conjunction with Homeschool Day at the Capitol, Christian Home Educators of Colorado is looking for aspiring Christian filmmakers to create short film clips promoting the exciting events planned for this year's Homeschool Day at the Capitol.

Entrants must use the theme "The Holy Cause of Liberty" from Patrick Henry's famous "Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death" speech. Video should be submitted to CHEC no later than February 1, 2011 to enter the contest. A $200 cash prize will be awarded to the best home video production. In addition to receiving a $200 cash prize, the winning video will be shown at the Liberty Celebration at Homeschool Day at the Capitol on Thursday, April 7th, 2011.

CHEC SPRINGTIME BOOK FAIR, MAY 22, 2010, DENVER METRO AREA

This is a great opportunity to sell your gently used school books, as well as educational and computer games, supplies and more! The 2010 Springtime Family Bookfair is ready for vendors! Please join us this year on Saturday, May 22 from 9am – 1pm, at the Arvada United Methodist Church. We had a very successful event last year and this year. If you or someone you know is interested in a table, please visit the website http://www.chec.org (under events) or email Christy at bookfair@chec.org. We have two table sizes this year, a standard 8 foot table for $25 or a 6 foot round for $15. The tables went very fast last year so please make sure to register early.

CHEC Graduation Ceremonies
